Luwak coffee cherries comes from droppings of civet cats. These cats are omnivores and eat a wide variety of berries, fruits, insects and small animals. These cats will only snack on the best cherries from a coffee plant. The eaten coffee cherries are partially digested and expelled; here is where the droppings are sought by our farmers and pickers.
